Server 2003 R2 with XP Pro having really slow performance and want to remove roaming profiles all together!
I am hoping to not have to delete the profile path from all 100 user profiles and if i do would i need to copy that profile back to the local pc???
I just want it gone the quickest and most painless way possible, please help!
I want to resolve this before we implement windows 7 pc's and then have to deal with .v2 versions of the profile as well as probably even worse performance.
If i tried the disable roaming profiles by enabling the computer GPO "Only allow local user profiles" would that solve my problem and provide the necessary housekeeping involved with copying the profile back to the local pc and removing the path from the profile???
