We are migrating from a Novell eDirectory environment to a Microsoft Active Directory environment. Both are set up and we have Novell's Identity Manager set up to sync the users from eDirectory to Active Directory. Our Novell eDirectory is on SUSE Linux servers and our Active Directory is on Windows 2008 R2 servers, (all virtualized with VMware). We have approximately 600 user and about 500 workstations.
Are there any steps to follow to do this and what are some of the pitfalls that I might face in this migration?
