Fine-Grained Passwords & Group Policy

Hello,

We are going to set up a Fine-Grained Password policy for a specific Security Group.  All of our other password policies are set up in the Default Domain Policy in Group Policy.  How do these two policies interact?  Does one override the other? I know you can set a precedence level for the Fine-Grained Passwords to determine the correct RSOP.
