Adding membership into a trusted forest fail

Hi all,

I have two separate forest, first forest is named ABC.COM, this is a windows 2003 server. And inside this forest there is a child domain called ZZZ, so the FQDN for this child domain is ZZZ.ABC.com, the second forest named 123.com (windows 2008) which has no child domain.

I setup a two way trust between ABC.com and 123.com, everything looks fine. At 123.com server i hosted a file server. I can add the permission for ZZZ.ABC.com (child domain) users at 123.com server. But when I try to add a security group (Be it global or universal) that belongs ZZZ.ABC.com, i can't see any group from ZZZ.ABC.Com. When I click at "Location" in the folder sharing/security tab. I only can see ABC.com domain. I managed to see some groups from ABC.com but not ZZZ.ABC.com.

I also try setting up a "non transitive EXternal" trust between ZZZ.ABC.com and 123.com, but the result is still the same. I even try using ADUC but I can't see any groups from ZZZ.ABC.com.

The file sharing is ok which means i guess the trust is, but when I try to add an user from 123.com to a group from ZZZ.ABC.com, it wouldn't work.

Can anyone tell me what might be wrong with this?

Thanks!
