Completing establishing the trust relationship

Hello Community

    A one-way outgoing external trust relationship has been established on the network.

    This trust has been established on the trusting domain.

    No actions have been taken on the trusted domain.

    When a user is added onto the trusting domain server when the “Apply” button is
clicked the < DomainName\UserName>  that was entered renamed into a SID.

    So the question has 2 parts:
 
    a) What actions needs to be taken  on the trusted domain dc after the trust is established on the trusing domains dc?

    b) Once the trust is established how do you stop the < DomainName\UserName> from being renamed into a SID or how do you apply permissions to a username even though it was renamed to a SID after it was added to the trusting domain?
