AD and Write Permissions

Hi

Assume the context is 2003 Sp2 possibly 2008

Our corporate Active directory can only be changed by a restricted user set in IT.

We would like to be able to have permissions from IT to adjust users, groups for our group.

>> Is it possible to allow write access for specific users at a sub tree level in an AD ?

e.g. \users\abc
\users\us  <= give us modify permissions here
