Let me state that I didn't set this up, I'm just dealing with it.
We have a couple of Domain Controllers in our network 2 -- Windows 2k, 2 -- 2003 R2 (Both DNS servers, and the "primary" is also DHCP) and now a 2008 R2 (needed a 2008 Terminal Server License Server). The second 2003 server is now acting up and causing a bunch of problems. If I try and replicate it I get Access Denied errors and the 2008 Server isn't even showing up in the Sites and Services list on it. When the 2008 server tries to replicate to it, I get the Schema doesn't match error message yet it will replicate fine with one of the 2000 servers. So I'm guessing that it's the second 2003 server that has the issue? I've read though some articles and nothing has worked yet but I'll be happy to do what ever to get this working again I just need to know what to do as I'm still new to this (been doing programming for the last 8 years and now doing "everything" so I'm still learning).
