I am trying to test the EFS features with a Global Catalog server setup.
What I did:
I used three Win2k8R2 server, one as Parent and another two as child1 & child2 domain controller.
Added my client laptop in child1's domain.
Created a DRA certificate in Parent domain controller.
But when I tried to create a DRA at the child1 DC, below info pop-up messages box appeared as 'Public Key Policies' and message contained "Windows cannot create a data recovery agent. The permissions on the certificate template do not allow the current user to enroll for this type of certificate"
Client logs shows Error as "(1168, 'EncryptFile', 'Element not found.')"
