We have internal domain xyz.com and now will planning to create the external domain in DMZ abc.com (New dedicated forest)
Internal domain : XYZ.COM (Forset functional and domain funactional is Windows 2003)
External domain abc.com ( Forest functional and domain functional ?)
Now my question here that From internal LAN computers and users need access to resources placed in new DMZ forest too, for this we will add a the one-way trust, so waht kind of port is required to open for one way trust and is there any issue if we create the external domain forest and domain funcational level to windows 2008? or it's better to keep the same lavel functional level as per the internal domain.
For functional level I do not know if it would have a bad impact for the trust and/or ADFS usage if we have a different one in DMZ than internal
And is there any other step need to take care.
