Hello,
In our 2008 R2 Active Directory domain, we have machines which are run a non Windows Operating System. The option is available to have the machine 'change' its machine password with the domain 1 per week. All other standard Windows machines run under the default 30 days machine password change policy with the domain.
We can 'exempt' these machines from changing their machine password with the domain, but I think its a good 'best practice' to have the machines change their password weekly. Can anybody comment on the reasons why we should continue to have these non-Windows machines change their password with the domain on a weekly basis?
Thanks for your help! SdeDot
