Situation:
ADPrep /forestprep and /domainprep have been run on the FSMO master (W2K8 SP2 DC). Forest ActiveDirectoryUpdate revision is 2 (W2K8); Schema ojectVersion is 44 (W2K8).
Problem:
Attempting to promote a W2K8 R2 member server to a DC via dcpromo.exe. Continually receive error during promo process stating adprep /forestprep must be run prior to promotion. Rerunning adprep results in "Forest-wide information has already been updated."
Any ideas are appreciated.
