I am involved in a project where redeploying the whole .net based application existing old hardware and software (windows server 2003) to latest x86 based machines and windows 2008. The application uses ADAM to store users group and credentials. The number of user groups/roles are say below 50. The user's passwords are being stored using standard cryptographic algorithm used by AD i.e. RSA MD4 (i assume it is hashing but not encryption).
Can one suggest me the best option to migrate or move the user base without altering the user's passowrds?
