Hello,
I need to upgrade our child domain controllers from server 2008 to server 2008 r2. The forrest is not handled by us, it's handled at the county level. I've seen articles about having to run prep commands but I'm not sure if they are needed if I am just upgrading the child domain controllers. Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how I need to upgrade. Can I just do an in place upgrade and be done with it?
