Client (XP, win7 and win 2003) machine time sync mechanism
I have two domains in 1 forest
MY all child Domain DCs are syncing time from root forest’s PDC And my root forest PDC syncing time from external time source….
1:- My concern is that is client workstation sync time from nearest DCs and that neartest DCS sync time from NTP server from its domain or root domain?
2:- If I have some server in DMZ zone then they can sync time from my DCs or NTP DC. Or I have to configure the external NTP server in registry in DMZ servers.
3:- Is NTP works in Domain only?
4:- Workgroup server or client workstation cannot get the domain time?
