I had a problem with an account, where I had to delete the mailbox...and I didn't realize that would remove the account. So I created a new account with the same name. The UID is different now, and on my Solaris file server, the account can't access anything that the original account could (unless I set the directory to world readable).
So, is there a way to change the UID on the windows account back? When I try under the Unix tab, it says "duplicate uid" and won't allow me to. I can't change the uid on the Solaris side, since it pulls it's info from AD. Am I stuck with just deleting the account and making a new one with a different name?
