I just started a new job at a VERY small school district. It is so small in fact that they only have one windows server 2008 server and this server does it all. The issue I am seeing is with their domain name. Instead of being named "domain.local"
or something like that it is simply named "domain" with nothing else following that. And we constantly have issues joining workstations to this domain but we are able to eventually get them to work. Is there any way to fix this without to much of
a headache or would I be better off just setting a new domain and migrating to that. I didn't even know it was possible to setup a domain that way.
