So here's the scenario. I've got PowerShell scripts running on one server executing Active Directory calls to the Domain Controller. Everything is working, but we turn on a NetMonitor trace it appears that attempts are made to make an SSL connection, but it fails. The server is not configured with a Server Authentication Certificate (which can be done and would be more secure). However, the question is - is there any way to disable ADWS from trying to use SSL (or the AD CMDLets for PowerShell for that matter). Obviously ADWS does not absolutely require SSL in order to work.....
