Hi, I have done quite a bit of digging on this and still dont understand why we are having an issue.
All computers are windows 7
All DCs are 2008R2
We have 3 sites. Only 2 sites have users and users in both these sites are affected.
In one site about 1 in 4 computers are using the %LOGONSERVER% from a different site.
In another site about 1 in 10 are getting the logonserver from a different site.
kerberos and ldap records in dns are correct for all sites.
Subnets have the right masks and are assigned to the correct sites, as are the DCs.
I think I have all the basics covered.
Here is a funny one: On one of the machines that has the wrong %logonserver% variable running NLTEST /DSGETDC:<domain> displays all the correct information. Correct site. DC is in the correct site.. etc etc.
Not sure where to look from here.
Any thoughts would be apprectiated.
