Is it possible to create a taskpad that will open at a specified OU and not see everything above it? I'd like to create a taskpad for our desktop guys to open up in our Desktops OU so they can join desktops to the domain.
To be clear, I am not trying to modify the actual permissions anywhere in the domain. I've already assigned rights for these users so they can add the desktops to the OU, and I understand users can view all objects in the domain by default. I'm just trying to create a taskpad view that goes straight to that OU, much like a shortcut to a file system folder. If our AD looks like this:
Company
- Location
-- Dept
--- Desktops
I want the taskpad view to start in Desktops and not see anything above that.
