We have one forest with one parent domain corp.local and one child domain it.corp.local.
Previously, this Ad was set up with Windows 2000.  Later, we upgrade to Windows 2003 and then Windows 2008 R2.
We have mixed mixed Windows 2003 R2 and Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers now.  People previouly set up this and had
delegation _msdcs and child it zone in the parent DNS server.  (I already changed _msdcs.cop.local to replicate to all
dns servers in this forest.   Please see the attached image:
rd1.corp.local is the parent DC's DNS server and cd1.it.corp.local is the child domain's DNS server.

Do you think whether there is any issue with this set up? does it still make sense to delegate zones
_msdcs and child it zone in the parent DNS server?  Also, the whole parent zone corp.local is in the child domain's DNs
server?

Thank you for your help.
