I have two remaining 2003 domain controllers to decommission (the rest are Win2k8R2) but I need to run a script that update the 3.5 schema to the new RFC 2307 attributes so I can manage Unix attributes from the new DCs. There are some scripts provided by rohitban on the Services for UNIX Team blog: http://ppe.blogs.technet.com/b/sfu/archive/2011/05/25/scripts-to-populate-the-unix-attributes-when-migrating-from-sfu-3-5-to-rfc-2307-schema.aspx and another here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/sfu/archive/2010/01/05/a-simple-script-to-manage-unix-related-attributes-in-windows-2003-r2.aspx that appear to be the ticket (!!!) but I don't have a test environment to apply them to. Have others used or referenced these scripts? I would love to run them but I quite nervous about doing so. Any assistance would be welcome.
