I have a dc that is the only DC in a child domain. I rebooted the DC after a windows update and now AD gives me an error anytime I open an object. Gives me an error saying bad username or password. Also says the RPC server is unavailable.
If I check the FSMO roles in the GUI they all say ERROR. If I run a netdom query fsmo, they show correct.
I get an error saying the it can't contact/bind LDAP.
If I try to open Group Policy I get an error saying: The secified domain controller could not be contacted. This affects the domain in the console. The error was: An invalid directory pathname was passed.
This is a relatively new child domain in the forest. It only has 3 users and 2 computers in it. I was in the beginning stages of a domain migration. Should I manually remove the child domain and start over?
