Active Directory Migration 2003 to 2008 R2

I am migrating a 2003 Active Directory Schema to 2008 R2

One Domain controller - nothing fancy

Will this have any affect on present Password policy?

Want to make sure everyone can log in when this is done and won;t have to change anything.

Want this to be seamless and painless.
