Having a lot of trouble finding actual relevant information for this. We have a test lab set up that was used for some LDAPS testing with a third party application. It is set up and working as expected. The problem is that now this same application needs to run against a straight LDAP on port 389.
How in the word do I just back out of this? I thought I would just look at the documentation and work backwards, but it is not materializing for me.
It would also just be OK if there is some way to simply enable unsecured authentication on 389. This is a lab and more often than not - I will need unsecured connections to test the applications.
