Hi I'm having a problem in creating an additional Domain Controller in an existing domain. I have Server 2008R2 Enterprise 180 day trial installed on 2 servers.

Made one server as a domain controller in a new forest for the pupose creating an AD Domain for our organization.

Now to make the domain robust I tried to make the other server as an additional domain controller. To do that I have followed the guide herehttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753720(v=ws.10).aspx and ran the AD DS role and ran the DCpromo.

I have selected default settings of the wizard including DNS.

The following error has occurred at the final step!

The Operation Failed because:

Active Directory Domain Services could not create the NTDS Settings object for this Active Directory Domain Controler

CN=NTDS

Settings, CN=DC-02,CN=Servers,CN=Default-First-Site-Name,CN=Sites,CN= Configuration,DC=Corp,DC=mycorp,DC=net on the remote AD DC-01.corp.mycorp.net. Ensure the provided network credentials have sufficient permissions.

"The DSA operation is unable to proceed because of DNS lookup failure"

Any solutions for this error?
