Problems after migrating D: drive to new disk

I have a client whose C: drive was only allocated with 10G of space.  Over the years the contents of C: has grown to the point that they were running out of space.  I migrated their D: drive to a new mirrored virtual disk by syncronizing the data to the new disk, then moving the D: drive mount to the new disk.  Then I could grow the C: volume.

In the process, apparently some of the AD components are now broken.  I'm getting Application/userenv errors now:

1058:

Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO CN={31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=LVC,DC=local. The file must be present at the location <\\LVC.local\sysvol\LVC.local\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\gpt.ini>. (The system cannot find the path specified. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

and

1030:

Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. Check the event log for possible messages previously logged by the policy engine that describes the reason for this.

There's one PC in the office on the local domain with a couple shared printers, other computers ae not able to print to those computers now.  Also there's an application running on the server, the PC in the office can't connect to that server.

I found /en-us/library/aa998508(v=exchg.65).aspx which refers to getting properties from the AD Users and Computers console, but that wants to install gpmc.msi which it can't find on the computer -- I found the file in a different location on the computer (appears to be images of the three install CD's), but the installer doesn't like that version of gpmc.msi.

If I try to connect from the server to one of the computers in the domain I get a permissions error and "Thisservers clock is not syncronized with the domain controllers clock"

Thanks in advance for assistance!
