We are building a new AD site in cloud with 2 X new DCs, as of now we have Exchange 2016 servers and 2 X Windows 2016 DCs and other application servers in our local Datacenter. Once we prepared the new AD site and DCs in cloud, most of the servers will be migrated / moved to cloud except Exchange servers. We are looking for best practice recommendation / suggestions on preparing this new site with new 2 DCs. Also do we need to make any changes with Exchange servers with respect to AD site & DCs.
Another concern is regarding the DNS. In our local Datacenter Infoblox is configured as primary and secondary DNS servers. With the cloud there will be a dedicated Windows server which will be configured as secondary zone for AD domain (which will replicate from primary Infoblox DNS appliances). So with the DCs in cloud do we need to mention the primary DNS servers or the secondary in cloud?
