Hey guys, I have run into an impass in changing the role of one of our domain controllers to another. Little back ground on the situation is that our connection to our domain controllers globally only have one site that they can all connect to and sync. We are trying to move all the roles to that site so they all can function normally. I am an enterprise admin, domain admin, and schema admin.
I have run the register dll and I can open up the schema admin mmc, and from the there I can connected to the local host to get to the point where I am prompted to change the schema master, however the change button is greyed out. I have also tried running this as administrator on a 2008r2 server with the UAC turned off as a last ditch effort to try and get it to work.
I am completely stuck and can't move our fsmo roles over to the new site, and without changing them to the new site, I am stuck not being able to get our Hong Kong cloud up and running.
PLEASE HELP, I am desperate!!!
