Hello everyone
I have been fiddling with AD 2008 for the past 2 months now and I had recently start playing with GPOs in order to deploy software.
I took an executable and converted to msi, then linked the GPO to my test domain and try to deploy it but because there are no active user or computer objects to test the software deployment, I tested it using the machine where AD is installed.
I logged off and logged back in and the GPO is trying to install the software but it stays there forever. The software I am trying to test deploy is Ccleaner.
At the moment it is hanging on "installing managed software CCleaner" and it stays there.
Does anyone know how can I get into the Windows server and delete this GPO?
Is not really a big problem because this is test machine but I would like to know if it's possible. If not I will re-install AD.
Many thanks
