Hi Together
I hope this question is in the right subforum. If not => Big Sorry.
We have a few Windows 10 Laptops in our compandy which are connected to our (Microsoft) domain. The user are logging in with there AD Account. As long as if they are in our network, this work fine (what else :)). If they are outside and not connected to our network, the can still login with the stored AD Credentials, which also is fine and normal.
BUT: Sometimes, the login from outisde takes about 45 seconds (in our network => around 6 seconds). I Think that the Laptop takes some time to search for a DomainController, but 40 seconds just to understand that the computer is NOT in the domain network ist a big long...
Does anyone knows
A) if theres is some solution via GPO or something to this?
B) Why it behaves this way (searching for DC or what)?
Best Regards
Mike Schmid
