I have an issue where a while ago I have upgraded all DCs to Windows server 2016 and once all DCs were upgraded I have raised domain functional level. I haven't noticed than but when I go into attribute editor for my domain I can see that msDS-Behavior-Version
is 7 which means windows server 2016, but right clicking on my domain in MMC console and going into properties, I see "Domain functional level: Windows Server", "Forest functional level: Windows Server 2012 R2". How is this possible
if I have raised domain level? Why is it showing "windows server" for domain functional level while it should be windows server 2016. My powershell output is Windows2016Domain, Windows2012R2Forest. Is this normal and it is just lack of my knowledge
or I am missing something here?
