We are trying to find a way to manage LAN and WLAN setting centrally, where LAN connection can be prioritized over WLAN connection. So giving the user best network performance. Our customers have WLAN access points and cable connections in the same floors, and the target is, when a user plugs in his laptop to dockstation, the active network adapter would switch place from WLAN to LAN.
I understand this can be achived by following the below steps;
- Open the Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Change adapter settings.
- Press Alt to make the menus visible, select Advanced Settings... from theAdvanced menu.
- Reorder the items in Connections so that you Local Area Connection is on top.
How do I manage this using GPO?
Could someone please shed light on this?
