The scenario is two trusted forests that will be in place for some time. An application in Forest A supports DFS namespace for high availability. While users in Forest B can access Forest A resources, the challenge is to get a DFS target near Forest B users such that they do not need to pull from targets on Forest A. (Forest A targets are not near Forest B users). The application only supports a single share name, so I'm unable to create a separate namespace for each forest.
My question is: Can I create a DFS namespace with targets in both Forest A and Forest B, such that all users would reference the same name but pull from their local site target (within their local Forest)?
Thanks for any feedback/input.
