Unable to resolve Domain

Hi Team,

I have DNS name resolution issue scenario explained below. Kindly provide your valuable comments here.

We have a domain named Contoso.local in my environment with one Domain controller named DC1 and there are multiple client machines for this domain. One client machine is unable to reach Contoso.local and getting error that could not find the host. Infact i am able to resolve the domain controller using hostname (DC1) and FQDN (DC1.Contoso.Local)from same client machine. Only the issue is while ping the domain name (Contoso.Local).  Even I turned off firewall, Checked the host file,  DNS suffix  and all looks normal.

Can someone please suggest me to fix this issue?
