GPO and printers

I am having a hard time with mapping printers in a single domain. I have a script to do it, but it always changes the users default printer everytime they login to the network. It sets the default to the first printer in the script. I do not set the def printer in the script, because users may want a diff. default. I have tried a simple script to map the printer using the WSHNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection ... type command, same result. I have even enum'd the printers and removed and readded them. Either way, the default is always changed to the first printer in the script.  For funzies, I set up a test AD Windows 2008 server with a single machine, same problem. Is this just a limitation of AD?? How do I leave the default alone when I map... VERY frustrated..

Thanks

BUC
