Folks,
Our company uses ISP provided forwarders for Internet Domain Name resolution. However these have been flapping lately and the ISP says that they don't provide any SLA for these and don't have a model where we can pay more and get SLA.
Questions
1. Any one using DNS Caching instead? Some folks are suggesting on this and does not make any sense to me. Like host a DNS cache server which will sync with ISP or Root Hints anyways
2. Do your ISP DNS provide SLA? If yes, may I know which country or ISP please? I am in India
3. Using 8.8.8.8, 4.2.2.2, 4.2.2.1 does a lot of good for us. However there is no SLA on these either but always work :)
Your thoughts or suggestions are highly appreciated.
