Upgrading Domain Controllers with KMS and WINS Services Running

Hi

We are in a situation where we have to in-place upgrade our Windows 2008 R2 based domain controllers. Some of these have either KMS or WINS services running on them.

Has someone ever attempted to perform this kind of upgrade. Specifically, I need to understand:

1. Can domain controllers be upgraded without impacting these services? or We should move these roles before attempting the upgrade.

2. What's the best way to move off WINS and KMS roles from the domain controllers to other servers - any document, article, guidelines etc will be really helpful.
