Hello everybody!
I try to remove lingering objects from my envirement. I have 1 root domain contoso.com. And couple of child domains sub1.contoso.com, sub2.contoso.com ... sub10.contoso.com
On two domain controllers (DC1 и DC2) in root domain contoso.com I can see a lot of lingering events from DC3 in sub1.contoso.com. On DC1 I can see what lingering obgects come from DC2 and also on DC2 I can see what lingering obgects come from DC1.
I try to use repadmin /removelingeringobjects.
I run:
repadmin /removelingeringobjects DC1.contoso.com"GUID DC2" dc=contoso,dc=com
repadmin /removelingeringobjects DC1.contoso.com "GUID DC2" CN=configuration,dc=contoso,dc=com
repadmin /removelingeringobjects DC1.contoso.com"GUID DC2" CN=schema,CN=configuration,dc=contoso,dc=com
and after I made the same but for all other problems DCs in my forest. All is successfull done. But lingering object still comes.
In events of DC1 I can see that process of removing lingering objects was run and was finished successfull BUT whare is no actualy deleted obgects (not even one).
In events of DCs in subdomains can see:
Active Directory Domain Services was unable to remove all of the lingering objects on the local domain controller. However, some lingering objects might have beendeleted on this domain controller before this operation stopped. All objects had their existence verified on the following source domain controller.

Rerun the lingering object removal process.

operation is invalid. 8440
so the process of cleaning was started but coz of some issue (not clear for me) was not successfuly stop. I see the recomendation to start process of removing longering objects again (but this is always give my the same result).
My question is: How I can solve my problem and remove this lingering objects?
