I have a ws2012r2 server whose DHCP Reservation was active with my host computer. I have configured my host computer with a domain and am logged onto one of my server users.
In my remote host computer I had my internet router ipv4 number as preferred. In the host I ran ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew.
It really messed up my internet connection. My internet router ipv4 number vanished and was replaced with an "Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address".
Is this normal? I could still access network files from one of my other host computers not with other non-domain computers or my server like before.
ipconfig /renew seems to have effected just the host computers with a domain. How do I configure the server so the hosts have internet back?
