I have an orphaned domain controller I'm trying to remove from AD. When I try deleting it it says "access is denied". Protection from accidental deletion is not checked. All of the options in the DC's properties under the General tab if I go to NTDS Settings all of the options there are grayed out, such as "Global Catalog"(checked), and "Protect object from accidental deletion" (not checked), also the permissions under the security tab are also grayed out. I am a domain/Enterprise admin.
The current DC's are 2008R2 the orphaned DC was 2003, functional level 2003.
