Good morning,
I have a new user configured in an environment using Office 365 with Azure AD Sync.
They are currently unable to access their email via Outlook, I have identified the issue to be a result of the 'Alias' field being incorrect in Office 365. (The users' AD username is a randomized code for security purposes; the proxyAddress field and comment fields have been updated to ensure Lync and email functionality)
ADSI Edit does not have a field available to edit, Attribute Editor does not have a field to edit (I believe a result of the AD Schema not including Office 365.
Office 365 won't allow me to make the change due to synced with Active Directory; I have tried using PowerShell, reviewed dozens of articles and haven't found anything that can can allow me to edit that field - I need some help. Any time spent is greatly appreciated.
