I've a question that I'd like to put to you all that's been bugging me and my colleagues. We are in the planning stages of setting up a bi-directional forest trust with our parent company across a 100/100 dedicated cross connect. We'll have it set up with the necessary conditional DNS forwarders and Two way trust authentication but when it comes to DFS we're hitting a road block.
What we want to know is would the DC within the other half of the forest (so our parent companies) provide DFS namespace referrals to resources within our domain? So essentially across the trust and X connect?
