Hello!
I am a SA on first year of practising. I have a problem with a server i am administrating.
A couple of months ago i had to create a domain so the users of the companty (11 pcs) can be administrated under that single domain as there were a lot of problems reported every once in a while.
So i had to create the AD, DNS etc and i followed the procedure described on microsoft and looked like the installation went well.
I am now facing a problem with the group policy as it seems with my one, single administrator account i have no access to edit the policies. I get an Access Denied, Network could not be reached and sort of other problems i discovered running DCDIAG.
I gave the GP inside Policies folder the appropriate permitions for my account but still i can not edit any policies.
Then i try to install FAX server over again and i get ACCESS DENIED when the installation looks finished. THe FAX server gets installed but it is not operative.
I find errors on DCDIAG like "AN net use or LSA Policy operation failed with error 53" and "The network Path was not found"
Still, i have computers connected on the domain which inherit the default policies, i can PING the host by name, IP and vice versa from any computer.
WHat am i missing? Any help would be appreciated.
