DNS access denied

We have 2 Windows Server 2003 with one being the primary and the other being a domain controller.

Recently we have been getting a lot of W32Time system errors on the primary server and Kerberos (ID 4), Netlogin (5774 & 5741) and NetBT (4321) system errors on the DC and Userenv (1030 & 1058)

In the DNS Management on the primary server the DC is marked as having a problem and when clicked on the following message

   Access is Denied

You do not have permission to access the DNS server

To retry the connection, either press F5, or on the Action menu, click Refresh.

Every thing I have found online as resolution has been ineffective.  I sure could use some help.
